A Great Team - Foot Levelers & Your Doctor
Pain Relief Could Be Only Two Feet Away
Even if your feet don't hurt, they may be a major factor contributing to your health problems. Spinal-pelvic misalignment is the culprit. Pain in various parts of your body may be traced directly to your feet! You may not be as fortunate as you think. A foot problem may be the cause of discomfort or pain in your leg/hip, back, arm/shoulder or even your neck! Custom-made, flexible orthotics, Shoethotics®, or Sandalthotics® may be part of the solution to your health problems.
Take This Test
1. Are you age 40 or over?
2. Do your shoes wear unevenly?
3. Is one of your legs shorter than the other?
4. Do you stand or walk on hard surfaces for more than 4 hours daily?
5. Do you participate regularly in any physical sport ?
6. Have you had a prior knee injury, back injury, or neck injury?
7. Do you have joint pain while standing, walking, or running?
8. Do you have knock knees or bow legs?
9. Do you have obvious foot problems (bunions, corns, flat feet, etc.)?
10. Do your feet 'toe out' when you're walking?
If you said yes to any of the above, talk to your doctor and ask how custom-made foot orthotics, Shoethotics®, or Sandalthotics® can help.

Foot Problems
Short-and Long-Term Consequences of Foot Problems
Approximately 80% of all adults have some form of foot problem, conditions which can vary from bunions to heel spurs.
The most common foot problem usually doesn't cause foot pain. It's called excessive pronation (fallen arches), and it develops due to the aging process, changes in weight (e.g., pregnancy and obesity), active lifestyles on unforgiving surfaces, etc. It's important for healthcare providers to identify excessive pronation since this condition contributes to ligament injuries in the knees, lower back pain, hip dysfunction, functional scoliosis, and much more.
Another key foot problem, though more rare, is excessive supination. It causes a tightness in the foot joints and muscles that affects the foot's shock-absorbing abilities. The long-term effects of supination can be quite debilitating, including degenerative arthritis and even stress fractures.
Using over 50 years of research in the chiropractic sciences and today's most cutting-edge technologies, Foot Levelers specially designs their orthotics for patients with excessive pronation and supination, as well as for a number of other foot problems. In fact, studies show that custom-made, flexible Spinal Pelvic Stabilizer Orthotics reduce pronation, decrease the damaging effects of heel-strike shock, and improve structural alignment and dynamic function. Ask your Doctor of Chiropractic for more information on how these special orthotics can stabilize your feet and balance your body.
